Ronaldo Receives the RSL Top-Scorer Award for 23-24
After another record-breaking season with Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo was named the top scorer of the Roshn Saudi League for the 2023-2024 season.
Ending the season with 35 goals, Ronaldo who has won the Ballon d'Or five times set a new record for the most goals scored in a single season in the league. This was Ronaldo's first full season in Saudi Arabia, where he not only netted 35 goals but also provided 11 assists, totaling 46 goal contributions across 31 games, which is a new league record. He also scored four hat-tricks, the highest in the league this season, and had the best goals-per-game ratio among players who scored multiple goals.
Ronaldo made history as the first player ever to win the top-scorer award in four different domestic leagues. Previously, he had won the award in the English Premier League with Manchester United in the 2007-2008 season, La Liga with Real Madrid three times, and Serie A with Juventus in the 2020-21 season. His achievement in the Saudi League cements his unique place in football history.
